Zero Carbon Bristol Partners

Royal Agricultural College

The Zero Carbon Bristol conference on June 29th 2010 was arranged by the Royal Agricultural College's Rural Professional Network.  It was inspired by the idea that a City can become truly sustainable by working closely with its 'Green Halo' – the surrounding countryside and farms.

Bristol Green Capital

Bristol's Green Capital Momentum Group created Bristol's Peak Oil Report in 2009, which the city adopted unanimously. City Development Director David Bishop's encouraged the group to keep setting ambitious goals.  He and sustainability manager Steve Marriott both spoke at Zero Carbon Bristol, and helped make it possible.
